Conclusion of Season 2

As we approach the conclusion of Season 2, a significant event will occur: a comprehensive wipe of the entire cluster. This means that all players, their Dinos, bases, and any uploads will be entirely erased. However, it’s important to note that this wipe will not affect private servers. For players who wish to retain their characters and associated data, there is an option to transfer them to a private server before the wipe takes effect. Please keep in mind that if players lose their characters or any purchases such as ascension, there will be no compensation provided for these losses.

Alpha Awards Mechanism

In terms of rewards for Season 2, the team that accumulates the highest number of points will be crowned the Season 2 Cluster Alpha on the Last day of Season 2. To be eligible for any of the seasonal rewards, players must ensure they have a minimum of 20 points. For a detailed overview of the rewards and eligibility criteria, players should refer to the Alpha Rules Channel. Additionally, it's crucial to remember that any credits received from the seasonal awards cannot be utilized for private server purchases, renewals, or upgrades.

Kickoff of Season 3

As we transition into Season 3, we are excited to announce that this upcoming season is anticipated to be the most thrilling yet in the Jurassic Ark experience. Players can look forward to several enticing features, including:

• 5 Alpha Points for all tribes that successfully claim Alpha status on the Fjordur map, with an additional point awarded for claiming Alpha on the Redwoods Cave.
• For those claiming Alpha on Extinction, an extra 7 Alpha Points will be awarded, along with another point for achieving Alpha on Wasteland Cave.
• Updates to the BBS Shop Rates to enhance player experience.
• Improved balancing of Dino stats to ensure fair play.
• More attractive packs in the Donator Shop.
• Introduction of refined rules designed to promote balance within the cluster.
• A lineup of new and exciting events to engage players.

Season 3 Commencement

The commencement of Season 3 will follow a brief downtime of approximately three hours after the wipe of Season 2. The new season is scheduled to officially kick off at around 6 PM CST.

Implications for Private Servers

It is also important to highlight the regulations regarding private servers during this transition. For a period of seven days following the wipe, private servers will be restricted from transferring any items or Dinos into the main cluster. This decision was made in the interest of maintaining balance for players who do not have the ability to donate.
